Summer festivals?

Anyone going anywhere?

I'm on to Keep It True (GER) festival (OK, late April is not summer season…hehe) and will decide later on for summer fests, depending on time and money.

Candidates are:

Sweden Rock (SWE)
Bang Your Head (GER)
High Voltage (UK)
Headbangers Open Air (GER)

I am also going to Keep It True and I will pay a second visit to Graspop Metal Meeting. Probably I won't go to another due to financial reasons. But I would like to go to:

High Voltage and Bang Your Head.

Unfortunately, except from Keep It True Festival in 10 days, the financial crisis stroke and I don't think I'm going to be able to go to another festival.

If things get better, I will see the lineups again and then decide.

SLAYER / THE HAUNTED
May 29th, Birmingham, England
May 30th, Manchester, England

whoever wants to join us, drop me a line…
we'll be staying in Liverpool for 5 nights and will drive to Birmingham and Manchester for the shows.

you could write a report for METAL TEMPLE…

sounds great although THE HAUNTED was born listening to SLAYER

Not as many as usual but…
Muskelrock (Pagan Altar will take over the world someday)
Getaway Rock Festival (Motörhead, Overkill, Megadeth, Slash and many more just outside my door)
Bang Your Head (Jon Oliva's Pain, Nevermore & Fates Warning on the same Festival, too good to be true)
Headbangers Open Air (again a great lineup, lots of cool bands)

Looks dark for SwedenRock at the moment though…
