Hi, JD here:

Will be posting about everything Canadian metal…. why, you ask? Simple! Canadians thrash hard, and the metal here is needing to be heard by the drooling metallic masses around the world so they can kill all of the metal posers that infest the fringes of our scene.

From Old school to extreme ultra death and brutal brimstone infused black metal… Canada is beginning to make noise on the Metallic front… and I am your gateway. Read…Learn… Rock.

That is all for now… Taa-Taa!!

Hi all:

It is the first of many posts to let you on Metal-Temple know about the wide array of metal that is coming at you from the wintery gripped shores of Canada.  What insanity do I have for the droolinvg metallic masses of metal Temple?  Here we go….

Two bands come into mind at the moment…

The first is a Trash/Speed outfit from Edmonton Alberta called Six Guns over Tombstone.

They are a young band  and they have not really hit their stride - yet but one listen tells me that there is way more to come from this quirky speed trio.  They are cheesy as hell, and right at the moment they have not found their own voices musically yet, but that only says half of the story - It is clear to see that the band has that spark of being something special, and they are rather fun at this stage of things

As young at they are, the show talent that will grow into something larger that they are. With the right sort of guidance, and a continued growth in their music, Six Guns have the potential to be something truly remarkable while still paying homage to the old school metal they have used as inspiration

The last nugget of Canadian Metal gold I am gonna give, is Ontario’s very own power thrashers Final Stage.

This unsigned Canadian Power Metal Trio gives Classic/Power metal a good swift kick in the ass to bring it into the new millennium full of pure power and ready for dominating the scene.

They hold all of the classic metal like what we had in the early to mid 80's… but there is more to them.  Powered by a amazing sense of melody that is heavy as lead that is fuelled by having such a level of pure talent - this band delivers music sort of like if Metallica, Judas Priest and Helloween had all banded together into one band.

The best I can describe them as is that they come across as Canada’s answer to Judas Priest with the might of early Metallica. These guys are an unpolished diamond in the landscape of the Great White North’s metal diversity
