My favorite King Diamond release is Abigail. Despite a shitty performance by Michael Denner, Andy LaRocque gives one of the best lead guitar performances in all of metal. King Diamond turns his falsetto into a catchy and powerful tool in which to tell a story. I love that album. King Diamond is one of the greatest figures in metal that has never sold out.

It's really difficult to spot the worst KING DIAMOND album. maybe "Spider's Lullaby"?

As of right now, my least favorite is The Puppet Master, although I haven't heard Abigail II and The Graveyard yet, which I heard were also rather weak. Now tell us about your favorite  :P

I cannot choose one KD album so I would go for "Them" and "House Of God".

"Puppet Master" is also a very good album far better than "Give me your soul Please". :)

i cant' really say that i'm a big fan of King Diamond. i only own a few albums but i REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy Conspiracy.

i heard from a friend who is a long time fanatic of King Diamond, that he loves the fact that every single KD album has it's own "personality". as in "every album is different than the previous ones".

would you say that is true?

"Puppet Master" seems actually a really strong album with really tight compositions to me. And King Diamond delivers a great performance in there! I mean "Blood To Walk" may be one of my favourite King Diamond songs.

The Puppet Master was actually my first King Diamond album and it turned me off to him, fortunately I gave him another chance with Fatal Portrait, which I liked, and then Abigail, which is one of my favorite albums of all time.
