So, here we can write down some of the 2010's album releases that blow our ears off!!
I make the first step by raising the flag on Overkill's "Ironbound". That's a good one, you know!

And I'll hit again later..
Lets see what you've got.. :guitar:

We are not here to make best of the year lists (this is for other sites).

We are here to propose albums that deserve our attention!!

The new Eluveitie is quite promising

I should propose MYRATH-Desert Call. Actually, I am now writing the review on this.

Many eastern melodies and a really solid sound!!!

Check it out!

I will second (or third?) Ironbound and would like to add Heathen's new album, "The Evolution of Chaos" as well. That one may perhaps be better than Ironbound!

You can also check out Aeternam. Death metal with really beautiful melodies and a middle eastern kind of atmosphere. ;)

Dillinger Escape Plan - "Option Paralysis"
High on Fire - "Snakes of the Divine"

I didn't really like either of these bands until I heard their new releases this year. I love the Mike Patton-like choruses that DEP has adopted as well as their more progressive sound. And "Snakes of the Divine" really grew on me during the second listen. Just a great straight-up metal record.

High On Fire's new album is definitely great, and probably their second best album after "Blessed Black Wings".

Would vote for ARRYAN PATH and their newest "Terra Incognita" CD.
