A select few fans will have the opportunity to see EVANESCENCE perform the band's new single live in Nashville on Monday evening, August 8.

If you are in the Nashville area and are available on Monday, August 8, please send an email to evanescence@winduprecords.com with the words "EV LIVE" in the subject line. The email should include the following information:

* First and Last Name
* Age
* Address
* Email Address
* Phone Number

** Note: Fans must be 18 years of age or older to participate. This is on a volunteer basis (no monetary compensation will be provided), but it's sure to be a great time!

Chosen participants will be notified via email on Thursday, August 4 and informed of the location and start time for the August 8 performance. If selected, you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the set. Exact shooting location is to be determined, but it will be somewhere in the Nashville area.

Although she was talking about making an electronic/dance album just last year, EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee seems to have put that behind her once and for all. Not only is the new EVANESCENCE record reportedly the band's heaviest yet, but Lee told MTV News that fans will get more of the same when the band tours this fall. She said, "It's just going to be straight-up rock. Big energy. This album is just a fast-paced rock ride . . . We've got three albums now to pull from so, of course, we want to play the new ones but, of course, we're going to play the old ones too. It's going to be a lot."

The new, self-titled EVANESCENCE album, the band's first in five years, is due out October 11.

A first single called "What You Want" is due to hit the radio shortly. The band shot a video for the song last weekend in Brooklyn.

The group recorded a total of 16 tracks for the record, and all 16 will appear on a deluxe edition of the disc.

EVANESCENCE will play its first U.S. show in two years on August 17 in Nashville, with the full North American road trip tentatively scheduled to begin sometime around the album's release.
