Atrocity's Alexander Krull: “I would like to work on new albums, projects, videos and everything included. My lifestyle is Metal and that is something inside me that will hopefully last until the very end.”

German Death Metal institution ATROCITY released their third and final part of the “Okkult” trilogy in January 2023. Formed in 1988, ATROCITY released 11 albums, five EPs and a DVD during their career. “Okkult III” is surely the most sumptuous release of the band. Vocalist Alexander Krull is the mastermind not only behind ATROCITY, but also behind symphonic Folk Metal band LEAVES’ EYES. Metal Temple writer Thomas Kumke had the opportunity to talk to Alex reflecting on the ATROCITY history, the development and concept of the Okkult trilogy, and about the new album.
