Out of the Darkness comes the Irish Death/Grindcore band, Abaddon Incarnate, with their 4th LP entitled Pessimist. Alienation, depression, loneliness and evil thoughts come to mind while listening to Abaddon Incarnate. Pessimist took all of 3 days for Abaddon Incarnate to record from them preferring the demo sound over big budget albums.
The Vocals are a little too depressing for me, but too the right ear can be enjoyable. Plenty of fast paced guitar riffs and blasting drum beats defiantly keep your attention as you let Pessimist play through. I can’t say many songs stuck out to me on this album, because it sounded a little repetitive, but I did enjoy “Warping the Necrospawn” and “Nameless Grave”.
All in all, it’s not my cup of tea. I’ll let you be the judge on this one, give Abaddon Incarnate – Pessimist a listen for yourself, you may enjoy it.
