Aborted - Bathos Award winner

by JOGANEGAR at 06 September 2017, 7:46 AM

ABORTED is an international Death Metal Band originally founded in Belgium in 1995, and in case you have been living in a Death Metal cave for the last 22 years, you Death Metal fans are excited to receive this as a taste of what may be their tenth studio album, or at least a new work of some of death metal’s most prolific and talented bands in the world today. This is a limited-edition CD that will only release 1000 copies worldwide of the retro gore masters that are currently touring the world in search of spreading their message of complete annihilation across the globe.

A work of pure extreme Metal art by a band continuously considering their fan base as all bands should do, I think, as the most important asset of their work and stage persona as a whole, bringing this EP as a way of giving a relief to all of those who continuously look for new songs by our favorite bands, and always offering a plus in their releases as well as their performances; like in the case of The Necrotic Manifesto, their eight-studio album inspired by the work of American legendary author H.P. LOVECRAFT which offered a set of cards to play a game where the members of the band where the main characters in a blend with the universe originated by the creator of Chutlhu. “Bathos” is a two song EP released after their ninth full length album released in the summer of this year. A work of pure brutality including the talent of members from different countries teaming up to form a relentless ensemble of lethal extreme Death Metal straight to the jugular that sets the path for the continuous creative flow of a band in their complete and utter prime.

To add to all of this, the production of flawless and the way each instrument can be appreciated along with all its technical complexity and virtuosity is a delight to Metal Temple practitioners across the world. A flawless yet short, but not insufficient taste of one of today’s most fertile and productive bands, what comes in the life of ABORTED and all its followers can only keep improving for the very best.
