AGAEL is one of those bands that you will never expect to find, whether you like it or don’t like it, you must recognize this guy has a lot of guts, lot of energy, and a lot of… what can you name? Let’s not put a name, I will let you to decide.

There’s known to a person who has read something that I have written, that I love the atmospheric sound, the dark and deep emotion put into a song, and this release is full of them. Full of talent, and sure as hell that although I don’t understand a word of German, the lyrics come as well with dusk into them.

Frist of all: one guy does it all, and that’s beyond my knowledge, although I know there are a lot of bands like this, that fact still amazes me, because I believe you need a lot of neuron and intelligence to do something like that, and that happens here, with atmospheric intros, acoustic passages, harsh vocals, dark and heavy riffs, drums constantly changing, to give pass to a more relaxed sound, always maintaining that darkness I have been talking about, bass lines fitting for the tracks, and as always a hell incarnate each time that could pass.

Just for the record: we are in 2014, and I believe that the production of the 90´s must be over now, there are plenty of bands that could make a dark and heavy sound, with a good production, and that may be something bad on this record. You want this? You really need to appreciate those old bands, without that, there’s no need you will not find this attractive, and after all it’s for each one to decide what darkness deserves attention.
