Akrotheism - Behold The Son Of Plagues Award winner

Behold The Son Of Plagues
by Jorge "The Zarto" Zamudio at 08 March 2014, 11:16 PM

After spending time with the innovation, the new and the endless universe of new sounds in Metal, I decided it was time to go back to the roots, and no common roots, but mine, the ones where the band was more important than where I find it, when the life used to be simply dark, simply drowned into the shadows, and the perpetual terrors came always out of my Walkman, while I felt living in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Not that much has changed, but finding releases like this, make me feel alive again, angry, dark and for sure immerse into the most black atmosphere, rawness from the highest quality, exploited in the most physical state of mind: violence, hell has come from the depths to make a statement with this album, hellish lyrics, fast riffs and amazing vocals, very strong bass lines, and for sure drums that can change from out here to nowhere, independent from the cliché of the Black Metal, this band has talent and that is out of question.

After all Black Metal is that, black and dark, harsh voices, demons, fire, and this is an amazing feeling, like liberation Not Like Gaal and his “Satan” freedom) this is truly something needed in my life, we all keep going in a long travel, forgetting what is important, and maybe this band is not, but what it brings to your memory is, so give it a try, the outcome doesn’t matter, the content is what remains
