Alastor - Out of Anger

Out of Anger
by Daniel Silva at 21 January 2013, 3:27 PM

ALASTOR is a Thrash Metal band that comes from Poland, this is their third full-length album after reforming in 2004 and their sixth album overall.

"Out Of Anger" starts promising with the first seconds of “Beaten”,a calm intro reminiscent of METALLICA’s “Battery” or “Fight Fire with Fire” which, much like these songs, leads into thrashing and aggression filled riffs but unlike them, “Beaten” only forebodes a very uninspired and bland experience. In general, the album pretty much sounds like any other Thrash Metal record out there, having nothing special about it for better or for worse, the guitars, bass, drums and vocals all are your standard for this particular subgenre. This record would probably be recommended for die-hard fans of Thrash and die-hard fans of this band, but for all others this album is pretty much forgettable.
