Angel Witch
Angel Of Light

Angel Of Light” is the new album by ANGEL WITCH. The band have been together since way back in 1977 and are still bringing us new music in 2019. After a lengthy career, they now bring us the album “Angel Of Light”. An-8 track album for fans of the band to get stuck in to. ANGEL WITCH are under Metal Blade Records these days and it seems to be a winning combo.  The band who have been together for almost 40 years, and yet continue strong, as they release their latest album to the wolves. Fans of Classic Metal music will enjoy this album. The band's songwriter is also the lead guitarist and vocalist Kevin Heybourne - a busy man with a passion for his music that can be seen in his playing and singing. A band dedicated to their career of almost 4 decades, ANGEL WITCH can certainly show the younger generations how to rock.

Of the 8 songs on the album, there are a few to recommend. The opening song, “Don’t Turn Your Back”, is one. With its instrumental opening, the track brings the vocals to life, and when they kick in, it shows the album's colours. The mid-way instrumental should be noted for its heavy presence. As the drums thrash in the songs, we hear the fire on the album. “We Are Damned” is yet another nice tune to listen to. It has a fast pace and an excellent set of opening instrumental riffs on guitar. A simple message is conveyed in this song - "We are doomed", as the title suggests. Another song worth noting on the album is “Condemned”, a 5 minutes 29 second-long track, which comes at us full force loud and proud. Definitely one for fans of the Classic Metal band. It’s clear that the band stayed true to their style with the new album “Angel Of Light”. One more song from the album to listen out for is “I Am Infamy”, 5 Minutes and 33 seconds of pure heavy guitars and drums coming at you full of the passion and fire we have come to know from ANGEL WITCH.

In my opinion, ANGEL WITCH once again brought us a fine piece of mastery in the form of the album “Angel Of Light”. They are an older band who just don’t know the meaning of the word 'quit', and I expect they have no intentions of going away quietly any time soon. A band that goes from strength to strength over the years and like a fine wine and gets better with age. If you are a fan of the Classic Metal, this album is sure to please you. For fans of the band, it’s another well produced and well played album. An album on the must-hear list of ANGEL WITCH fans, both new and old. One of the band's finer pieces of work in recent years. It's got to be up there with ANGEL Witch's top works.
