For all those metalheads that adhere to the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” styles of metal, there is
AXE STEELER. A tribute to the 80s glory days of Heavy, Power and Hair Metal. These Colombian metallers have been headbanging their whole lives to bands like
JUDAS PRIEST,
IRON MAIDEN and the classics and did right by creating a band of their own to honor their Gods that made them who they are today.
AXE STEELER has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with their other idols
GLACIER,
PILE DRIVER, and
MEDEVIL STEEL.
The roar of the crowd, insatiable fans clamoring for the frenetic riffs of
Camilo Torres, and screeching vocals of
Javy Metal, “Back to The Stage” opens up
On the Run with a furious stampede out of the gate.
“Hellrider” introduces itself with the rumbling roar of a motorcycle, with an addictive chorus as a ride along.
AXE STEELER clearly took extensive notes on their predecessors.
AXE STEELER also had plenty of inspiration from other axe-related bands such as
AXE VICTIMS,
AXE WITCH, and
AXEVYPER.
“Beyond the Stars” takes a pause for some quiet reflection with soft piano.
“On the Run” kicks things back up and charges across some desert parched landscape in Limbo, trying to outrun a horde of outlaws.
“Storm” brings a torrential downpour of melody and some thunderous riffs to the party.
On the Run is a nitro-fueled ride that
AXE STEELER is very proud to finally release following their EP
Back to The Stage.
AXE STEELER hopes to make a call to arms to others who play metal and make it their life to keep the tradition of the originals alive for generations to come.
AXE STEELER’s debut
On the Run is ready to take a scenic, cross-country route through Hell and cordially asks you to come along for the ride.
