BEVERLY KILLZ is band from sunny Italy formed back in 2007. “Gasoline & Broken Hearts”, mixed & mastered by the famous producer Alessandro Del Vecchio,is their debut album the follower of their 2010’s EP “Straight From The Underground”.The songs on album are mix of 80s Hard Rock with Glam / Sleaze Metal with great melodies and modernized elements. The band seems to be influenced from AC/ DCAEROSMITH and it is quite evident that that soloing draws its energy and pattern out of early GUNS 'N' ROSES.

I liked “Away From Danger“ right from the get go. It sailed with a clear rhythm section, neat guitars conveying melodic Hard Rock and Glam Metal. Vince's vocals are somewhere between Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH), high end registers similar to Tobias Sammet (EDGUY,AVANTASIA). If you want to feel the spirit of the 80s you should to listen “Never Back Down” where you will find a nice melodious pattern with choir multi-singing refrain. “Baby You’re On Target” and “Dark Lady” deserve a closer attention. Like a view of a wilderness or a dry desert, the sounds of true Rock and Metal entice the soul, especially with that Americanized flavor of heaviness.

My favorite song of the album is “Dark Lady”, simply excellent by all means. The guys made it sound powerful, catchy and melodic music; you can also find the same by listening to “Livin’ And Dyin’”. There is a great ole’ Rock’n’Roll vibe within “Riding Alone” that runs with great guitar riffs and solos, beautiful sound for ears. “Power Of Your Sex” is yet another melodic Hard Rock tune with some aspects similar to BON JOVI. Certainly there is that fine fusion between the contemporary stuff and the classic sensation. “Sin City” is punchier song with choir-singing on the chorus pretty identical to earlier SKID ROW and POISON. The last track called “What Is Love” is a totally nice surprise with a modern Rock version for the classic 90s Dance song “Haddaway”.

For me BEVERLY KILLZ is good band, they allow the listeners to head back to the glorious days. In their music there is melody, but the worst part is that it falls in one ear, and out the door in a second. Furthermore, what isn’t that catchy isn’t that good either. These guys are talented and in their songs there is good feel and flow of the music, sometimes even a bit cheery. BEVERLY KILLZ presents the power of the younger age of Rock music.

Fans of CRAZY LIXXHARDCORE SUPERSTARCRASDIET and everyone who loves Hard Rock generated in the 80s and also Rock ’n’ Roll mixed melodic Glam Metal.
