Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: CORNERS OF SANCTUARY; signed via Killer Metal Records, hailing from the United States of America - performing Heavy Metal/Hard Rock, on their 5th album entitled: “The Galloping Hordes” (released May 18th, 2018). Since formation in 2011; the quartet in question have 5 albums, and 4 EPs in their discography so far; I am introduced to their 5th album entitled: “The Galloping Hordes”. 10 tracks ranging at around 37:21, CORNERS OF SANCTUARY arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal/Rocking developments. The boistrously bouncy titular track begins the record, conveying catchy crunchiness of fist-raising relentlessness. Flamboyantly injecting groovy captivations of concretely gritty energy; galloping with chugging hordes of chaotic mayhem, manifested with meticulous rhythms and adrenaline-fueled hardened hymns - injecting a dosage of infectiously harmonic melodies that jump with thunderous vehemence. This here band demonstrate diligent flair with ear-pleasing persistency, fist-pounding finesse and hellraising haste.

Consisting of Frankie Cross on vocals; the frontman distributes clean, high-pitched singing with a hint of raw roughness in the pipes in the punchy “Encage, Enslave Or Die”. Creatively crafting dynamically domimant songwriting originality, experimenting with crushing charges of rampaging stampedes and screams that roar with a vengeance. Mick Michaels on guitar excels with complexly dexterous executions, engaged on blisteringly hardened riffs and solos that stomp with savagely versatile ultilities in the next belter - “If You Dare”. Distributing constructively distinguished diversity in which efficiently comprises of elegantly composed consistencies that will make you groove seamlessly, powerhouse drummer Mad T establishes battering slams of hammering expertise as well - in the anthemic epic “A Soldier’s Last (A Drunken Battle Hymn)”.

Hail, Hail” has obvious MANOWAR-esquire elements in which implement furiously speedier components still providing pummelling stabilty from audible bassist James Pera; showcasing unique aesthetics that flourish with organic substances, fluidly polished sound production and rapidly swift nimbleness. “The Bitter End” contrasts with more solid variety; supplying progressively technical maliciousness, amalgamated with primitively punk culminations. As I advance to “Cloak Of Fear”; I get assaulted with a barraged onslaught of old-school, uncompromised Heavy Metal proficiencies - prominently profound with sonic systematics. The instrumentation also remind me of ROSS THE BOSS a little, with CORNERS OF SANCTUARY’s own taste of musicianship embodied within.

Vengeance Of The Warrior” delivers more original memorability, portraying quality orchestration that embellishes on razor-sharp ramifications – attributing in subtle tinkering that converges gripping hooks with profusely robust distinctions. “The Lies In Your Eyes” manages to keep things traditional with riveting charisma, upbeat efficaciousness and heaps of melodious madness that will unleash overwhelming entertainment and enjoyability. Overall concluding “The Galloping Hordes” with the finale track: “My Revenge”; I discovered a band who exceeded all original expectations, as well as enjoying a slab of remarkable performances – CORNERS OF SANCTUARY say they are proud of this one, and so they should be. If only all bands were like this, this job would be easier.
