Death on Fire - Lazerwulf Demos

Death On Fire
Lazerwulf Demos
by Bruno Diniz at 25 October 2017, 12:53 PM

Detroit really seems to be the beach of talented multi-instrumentalists. This time it's been the time for Tim Kenefic to show all his potential through the complete album "LAZERWULF DEMOS”. The great highlight of this work is diversity between songs that Kenefic can bring, a well-built connection between them and an impressive technique in the instruments considering to be one person. On the other hand I did not like the vocal part with guttural most of the time, something in the definition not right for my ears. When it happens to clean or Black metal vocals, the better, but it's only a few times that we see it.

The album is opened by a piano and soon after a contrast by a rhythm and a heavy followed by a very aggressive vocal, a presence of short soils give a more melodic and technical tone in the track "American Dream". "A slave by his own hand" follows with a very melodic Death Metal footprint and the vocal counting with a bigger and better variation when it leaves the rash and goes to the guttural; in addition a second track brings progressive tempo breaks. "Closer To Love" is a very immersive and sentimental track with enough effects a song is growing in excitement during its game, a pity that the chorus wants to have disabled more of the stanzas to be maybe a better one of the work.

"One Down Two To Go" features a long instrumental introduction before entering a deeper, darker environment. "Around his neck" features a famous biblical passage "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil" and within a more rhythmic rhythm becomes my favorite song of this work. “LAZERWULF DEMOS” is a diversified album with a great production where the highlight is the instrumental quality of Kenefic and his compositions. On the negative side, as said above, really, the media are modified to bring more brilliance to the work.
