Dictatorship – Your Favorites Award winner

Your Favorites
by Jojo "Rocket Queen" Hamilton at 13 April 2020, 4:07 PM

DICTATORSHIP bring the new album “Your Favorites,” which is due for release on April 17th 2020. It’s an album of brand new Rock N’ Roll songs that capture the imagination. Releasing through The Sign Records, the album has 7 songs to bop to. The band have released some of the material from the album. The band give a Rock N’ Roll feel to their music which instantly gives you a mood to grove. They are Hard & Heavy Rock if any was ever to be heard. With all members giving vocal talent to the bands sound, it brings variety & mystery to the songs. The band have put together a well made album which shines through with sweet riffs on guitar all with backing from drums & the vocals tiding in. When you put these 4 guys together they make magic! This is an album that should be played loud or not at all. Turn it up & tune in!

Opening the album is “In The Heat Of The Night” which opens with some taps & beats on the drums accompanied by the guitar riffs then the vocals join giving us a completeness to the music. The song is sweet on the ears & gives us the imagination of being in the front row at a gig watching the band perform. Song number 3 is “Good Things Gone Bad.” One of those songs where the second it starts, you want to sway to it. The rhythm is smooth & sweet. The lyrics are great, the song captivates you. “Eat The Poor,” song number 5, which is one of the songs that has been released already, opens with a hail of guitar & drum beats. The story that is the lyrics has to be pointed out as one of the highlights of the album, well worth listening out for! Closing the album we have song number 7 “From The Womb To The Tomb,” 5 minutes 17 seconds long, this song is an excellent way to close an excellent album. The song is catchy & captive, secondary highlight of the album I’d say!

DICTATORSHIP have made a fine ass album with “Your Favorites” and I have thoroughly enjoyed the album. I would highly recommend it if your a fan of the band, or a fan of Rock N’ Roll or Hard Rock. The album has been well written & composed. The lyrics are good & fit the music well. It’s an album that upon release, will make marks! For fans of DICTATORSHIP the album will be a well  coveted. It’s definitely an album that’s been put together well lyrically & musically. I’m going to be following the band from here on & have a listen to their material as I have really enjoyed “Your Favorites.” It’s a nice piece of work & I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever! I will be giving the album another spin once it’s finished!
