FALLEN MAFIA comes from England, they are a Hard Rock band that formed in 2011,
"Awaken" is the band's 1st full length album, they are led by a lady named
Hannah Neil, this lady has some powerful vocals.
"
War" is merely a cool little intro,
"Awaken" In this song the vocals are the 1st thing that catches your attention, especially when you weren't expecting a female singer, not that musically this song isn't awesome but the vocals carry this song.
"Burn" there is some killer bass lines in this song, along with some cool beats and amazing vocals, it seems that they flipped the switch and the guitars get in where they fit in.
"Don't Look Back" comes in with some acoustic guitars and even stronger vocals, it switches back and forth between acoustic guitars and electric guitarist, leaning more toward the electric guitars throughout the song.
"Life's A Dance" is a slow paced dark song for the most part but does have Its heavier parts, the guitar riffs are pretty cool, have I mentioned the powerful voice this woman has?
"Breathe" is dark, heavy, somewhat fast, guitars and bass are pretty cool, not to mention the drums are pretty awesome as normal,
"Asylum" kind of reminds me of
HEART musically but the lady of the band has a deeper voice, not manly but deeper, it has bongos incorporated, some vocal sound effects, it's pretty cool song.
"How The Story Ends" slows things down and even shows off
Hannah Neil's awesome voice, the guitars are brilliantly placed, the drums are just laid back in the grooves.
"Undead" isn't the best song vocally but the lyrics are pretty cool and somewhat catchy.
"Heads Up" has
Jack Martin brutalizing the bass here, along with the guitar and drums, making her voice seem even more deeper and darker.
"Nymph" everything is pretty simple but beautiful put together, letting
Hannah's voice carry the song, probably one of the slowest songs on the album but they seem to be able to tastefully add a touch of heaviness to the slowest of songs.
"Awaken" is more than your average solid album, it has a good vibes voice, actually it has a pretty good band on display all together, every musician is talented in their position, it's a Hard rocking album.
