Feel Never Real - Rock Rebel Gold

Feel Never Real
Rock Rebel Gold
by Marcos "Big Daddy" Garcia at 26 April 2014, 2:54 PM

A fine work, indeed, being on a way of doing a melodic Rock with some aspects coming from the 70’s sound, but remember: North-American FEEL NEVER REAL, with their third album, “Rock Rebel Gold”, besides all the propaganda around, show nothing new at all. But it’s good.

Very good and bluesy vocals (remind sometimes Glen Danzig and Ian Astbury), good guitars, bass and drums with fine technique and good doses of weight, you can surely hear that they dare to try something new in some manners, but still’s far.

Good production, done in a way that makes the band sound clean and heavy, but with some essential dirty touches, to make guitars sound more “full” and with charming sound from 70’s. So, it’s good on this part.

As the great part of the songs last lesser than 3 minutes, you’ll never get bored from the album, but some songs are special, as the hooking “New Rebel”, the bitter taste of “Low Class”, the rocker “Friday Night On Stardust”, and the more introspective “Back in the Day”.

Good album!
