New Day Rising

FOREVER VENDETTA is a Hard Rock band from Britain and it sounds awesome. These guys have recently released their newest album titled "New Day Rising" and that's what we are going to talk about.

The opening song from the album is the guitar instrumental song "Unbreakable" that will create the perfect ambiance for what's about to come. "Come Alive" starts out with a heavy bass sound and a great drumming. There's a really groovy guitar riff that will make you start to bang your head as soon as it starts. There's a lot of great melodies on this song, the vocals are great, the instrumental and the lines from the stanza and chorus are awesome. "Easy Way Out" starts out with a cool guitar riff and it creates a nice ambiance to the song. There's some clean guitar sound and the vocals are kind of instigating. "Just Can't Quit You" starts out with a really good and funny guitar riff and bass n' drums sound. I wasn't expecting from something like that on the album and it's just great.

"Takin' It Back" starts out in a more Rock N' Roll way and it's just awesome. There's a cool guitar solo, but the drums here are so good as well. "Roll It Back" mix up acoustic guitar sound with some distorted ones. There's a nice kind of BON JOVI feeling on it.  "Don't" starts out in a more directly way, with no introduction or instrumental parts. The vocals hit you right in the face, but in a smoothly way. It's a great ballad and I bet you will be singing the chorus with all your lungs. "Snake Oil Saviour" has a cool guitar riff, but the bass is heavy as fuck here and it seems to lead the song. I really liked how they played the bass and the guitar work are a work of art.

"Secret Tongue" starts out with a radio sound, but its soon followed by a great groovy guitar riff and bass n' drums as well. This song will make you anxious in a good way and you will dance a lot. "Not Your Hero" has this cool bass again and the guitar work reminded me of STEVE VAI. The vocal lines here are more 80's Hard Rock feeling and that's just awesome. There's something different on this song and I liked. "New Day Rising" is the title track of the album and also the one that closes it. It starts on a smoothly way, with a beautiful guitar riff that creates a great ambiance. But don't fool yourself, as it soon gives place to the great groovy instrumental and killer solo guitars. This song has some variety on the riffs and parts, going from smoothly to more aggressive, but always sounding melodic. I liked.

FOREVER VENDETTA has written and released a great album. The songs were well written, the production was tight and the instruments were really well executed. I must say that I really enjoyed how they focused on each instruments and gave them the freedom to speak throughout their strings or sticks. They deserve the best.
