Hails and Cheers to you all! My next review has thrown me into the depths of extreme metal, and I reveled in it! GLORIA MORTI, our brothers in Metal from Finland are releasing their next auditory assault on Metal Blade records in the very near future, and you will not want to miss this.
"Lateral Constraint" has proven to be the brutal masterpiece we all anticipated. From "Lex Parsimoniae" to Conclusion, every track is writhing, hypnotic creation of pure intensity. Psycho’s growls and screams are unearthly on "Aesthetics Of Self-Hyperbole and Slaves", while Kauko Kuusisalo’s drums and Aki’s bass are neck breaking solid. Splice in Juho Räihä and Eero Silvonen’s wicked guitar work, and you have an album that is otherworldly. Pure extreme death metal awaits you friends courtesy of our Finnish metal fiends. As a rating, I would say 9 outta 10. As always my Metal families, stay well, and live free! Cheers!
