Filthy Tenacities

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: GREEDY CAPITALIST; signed via Sleazy Rider Records, hailing from Greek grounds (now residing in Mexico) performing Death/Thrash Metal - on their debut EP entitled: “Filthy Tenacities” (released June 29th, 2018).

Since formation in 2017; the quintet in question have only this here EP in their discography so far which is entitled: “Filthy Tenacities”, 4 tracks ranging at around 9:30s - GREEDY CAPITALIST arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Death/Thrash Metal amalgamations. “Greedy Indexes” begins the EP; developing constructively detailed results of battering, and blisteringly hardcore intensities. Consisting of powerhouse drummer Humberto Lopez; the pounder delivers a consistently complex rotation of relentless pummelling stability, showcasing audible adroitness and boistrously crushing flamboyancy. “Massacre Planification” conveys creatively persistent craftsmanship in which demonstrates dextrous efficiency from guitarist/bassist Kostas Tsimpoukas.

GREEDY CAPITALIST embellish on adrenaline-fuelled melodies that are energetically distinguishable, bouncy and crunchy. The titular track: “Filthy Tenacities” contrasts with enlightening characteristics with thumpy thunder from 2nd guitarist David Fajardo, establishing more efficacious riffs and solos that implement unique elements of vehement grit and concrete solidity. Vocalist Dany Jimenez portrays rough pipes that are maliciously vicious and savagely sinister; in the overall concluding song “Monetary Slavery”, the band excel with consistent ramifications that jump with speedy instrumentation and musicianship. With that, this is a 4 song EP so this review is relatively short for that reason. Bottom line; I discovered a hammering band, that made me look forward to more releases in the future and they certainly outdone themselves with this one - check it out.
