This is the first time I've ever been at a complete loss for words about an album, HARDCORE ANAL HYDROGEN have just gone over the top with their new album "The Talas Of Satan" released on Apathia Records. This entire release is just one big clusterfuck of "what the hell am I listening to?" I'll try my best to explain.
The first thing you're gonna see from this album is the artwork, some fat, goat skull, four armed thing shitting from its stomach. If you're already lost, that's alright I was too. The album starts with a sort of tribal intro before jumping into a heavy riff, alright awesome we got some good stuff here. Next a small flute section plays, alright why not flutes are metal… Right? Then the vocals kick in and they just sound like feedback, there's no way you can make out a single word being said, or even find a pattern to the vocals. As much as I wish this only summed up the first song, this is literally the entire album summed up. Feedback sounding vocals that are literally impossible to understand, maybe a couple small sections that sound cool but that's about it, and really strange artwork, lets not forget the strange artwork.
All in all, a very forgettable album. I hate to say stuff like this but its true, check it out for yourself and you can be the judge but there's no reason for me to come back to it.
