HEIMDALL is yet another of the terrific bands that Scarlet Records has assembled under their label. I was not familiar with this band before hearing this and am very pleased to have come across this.
"Aeneid" is a sweeping, majestic, and terrific CD. There's a perfect balance here of softer, acoustic moments and in your face double guitar pyrotechnics. The vocals of Gandolfo Ferro are spot on as is the song writing and arrangements of the tunes. This would make a perfect soundtrack to something like “Game Of Thrones” or a movie of the likes.
Overall, this is just a great and enjoyable listen. This will definitely make me go back and check out the band's earlier works.
