Hevidence - Nobody's Fault

Nobody's Fault
by Craig “Thrashing Assault” Rider at 30 March 2017, 9:46 PM

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: HEVIDENCE; signed via Frontiers Records, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Heavy Metal, on their sophomore album entitled: “Nobody's Fault”. (released on December 2nd, 2016)

Since formation in 2010; (as EVIDENCE) the quintet in question have only 1 album behind them, I'm introduced to this here record, “Nobody's Fault”. Formulating traditional Hard Rock/Heavy Metal into one progressive entity; I jam to an elegantly produced formulaic of proficient expertise, no compromises nor restraints - slamming the hammer down with full force, implementing thrashing motives of intense delicacies in the opening tracks “Dig In The Night”, “Nobody's Fault” & “Miracle” showcase distinct musicianship and exquisite instrumentation through and through with galloping riffery and pounding pummeling. Going in with medium expectations; I instead raise those standards higher, as I surprise myself with enticing and exciting music. So far, so good…the songwriting is intricately graceful in design with its sound production flaring an organic aesthetic of memorable and original substance.

So Unkind”, “Ave Maria”, & “Overdrive”, exercise in complex progressive intentions exceeding those expectations with higher results. Corrado Quoiani on vocals composes impressively sung high-notes that are very clean - although at times it's hard to understand any lyrical notes, which isn't much of a bother. The dexterity from Diego Reali on guitars efficiently provide enlightening and entertaining fulfillment; consistently strumming sufficiently convoluted notes that will have you enjoying a solid dose of adequately constructed instrumental leaps at disposal. The powerhouse from bassist Andrea Arcangeli & Emiliano Bonini on drums, perform with similar adequacy; “I Want More”, “Out Of This Time”, & “Pack Your Bags” stems for more technical exerts - compiling extensive silver liners in this balls to the wall, hard hitting record of divine quality. HEVIDENCE clarify at how Hard Rock fused with Heavy Metal should sound like.

Concluding “Nobody's Fault” (which ranges at around 52:41) with the final 2 tracks “All I Ever Needed” & “Note” showcases detailed creativity and psychedelics that I personally found unprecedented, especially in the latter track.

Overall - “Nobody's Fault” is a highly enjoyable record that should please all Rock/Heavy Metal fans in general, I have no immediate qualms that should extinguish your expectations…as this was definitely a well-produced fabrication of coherence.
