Holy Moses are a somehow cult thrash metal band that split in 1992 after releasing seven or eight albums for various labels. The leading minds behind the band were Sabina Classen and Andy Classen and now almost ten years after the split the band is back with a brand new studio mini CD called 'Master Of Disaster'.
Their thrash metal is brutal and yet technical with influences from Sepultura and Bay area bands and the vocals remind you anything else but a woman! Sabina can be very brutal when she wants to be and in the new Holy Moses album she is something more than brutal. To be honest I would prefer some cleaner vocals for this album.
Thrash metal is what it used to be and there are not so many bands playing that way anymore. Well Holy Moses do and they do it well. Thrash to the bone, with grooves that will make you move your head, no matter what, and riffs that will remind you what metal used to be in the 80s. Good work guys.
