Not only will Roanoke, VA getting the rowdiest wake up call anyone could ever receive it will also be torn to shreds; this will be thanks to Death Metal four piece HUMAN INFECTION and their latest installment to the discography “Curvatures In Time”.
Judging from the band name and the un-imaginative track names there wasn’t really going to be any other type of music that would suit these aspects. I’ll be honest; I didn’t think the album got off to the strongest of starts as the up-tempo guitar riffs made it almost difficult for me to listen to but as the tempo slowed down I started to enjoy the pumping energy fuelled chorus of “Celestial”
The slower tempos in some of the songs highlighted the brilliant guitar riffs and solos that each song had to offer. I also quite like the fact there are no abrupt halts between tracks; there are smooth transitions.
For me the tracks all sounded similar, but that’s what you come to expect from Death Metal acts. I personally found it tricky to immerse into this album however for fans of Brutal Death Metal band CANNIBAL CORPSE it will certainly be a treat for them.
