Death Metal is a genre that, for me, can be divided into two basic parts. Technical Death (with a meaning) and Brutal untalented Death. I know there are a lot of sub-genres in Death but basically that's how they divide (in my head). Technical death Metal bands are bands like In Flames, Soilwork, At The Gates (RIP) and many others. Brutal untalented bands are usually bands like Deicide. What's wrong with that? Nothing if you like listening to that kind of Death. Everyone's got the right to listen to anything he pretty much wants to and we're not here to criticize anyone for his musical preferences. I'd just want you to excuse me for my brief review over this album since I'm not that into THIS kind of Death Metal (therefore I don't have much to say).

Mangled don't make that much of a noise with their playing style but they bore me to Death (hehe) because the whole album seems to be the fuckin' same! The Vocals (deep brutal) seem to ride on the same rhythm in almost all the songs (and ofcourse you can't make out what the hell Houwen is singing if you don't have the lyrics in front of you). The drums are, hum, ok I guess but they don't have any interesting turns . The only part that is slightly interesting is the guitars part. They're heavier than the average brutal Death band. I guess that's all I have to say about this band…
If you're into this kind of Death, I'm sure you'll love it…otherwise……..
