Mantar - Death By Burning

Mantar
Death By Burning
by Marcos "Big Daddy" Garcia at 30 March 2014, 11:00 PM

A fine Metal duo coming from Germany!

MANTAR is coming with their first album “Death by Burning”, unleashing a furious and hard work, distilling hatred on Sludge Metal form, heavy and slow (with some fast moments, but not so fast as some can think), bitter and aggressive, with great vocals, excellent riffs, good rhythmic kitchen, so be prepared.

Good sound production, making the band sound clear and abrasive, heavy and aggressive, without losing the sense of sound integrity or being confusing. It’s very good, indeed.

The whole album is good, but the highlights are “Spit” (an intense song, very abrasive), the involving “Cult Witness” (the aggressiveness pulses out the speakers, with great vocals and riffs), the elaborated and agonizing “Into the Golden Abyss”, and “White Nights”.

A fine work, indeed, and hope in the future they will be a great band.

Hoping for more of them!
