MASTER is an American Death Metal band formed in 1983 by Paul Speckmann, they have released a total of 11 albums with “The Witchhunt” being their 12th. Speckmann is to be respected by his commitment to his music but unfortunately the music released in this album is something to be avoided.
The riffs here are boring and repetitive as hell with not much difference between one song and the other; for example, the first three songs sounded pretty much the same, with the same-sounding riff, the same weak guitar tone and the same vocal delivery.
Not to dwell much on this review, I wouldn’t recommend this album, not even to the die-hard Death Metal fans out there as you could probably find better tunes than these.
