MOREOR is female fronted Symphonic Gothic Metal / Dark Metal band from the west of France. Band was formed in the late of 2010 and has released their debut EP “From North, From Sea” on 4^th December 2013. EP was recorded partly in France and New York City and it contains 5 tracks for 33 minutes of music.

Opening instrumental track “Downfall Path” is nice opener to this mysterious album. Heavier and doom riffs in “Kill Me Again” together with Symphonic elements in the background with excellent singing by Eadha, the opera singer with a deep and ethereal voice make this song very interesting.  Here are also Progressive changeable climate together with dark sounds and that makes beautiful journey to the listener.

In “Dark Knights” Doom Metal guitars connecting in interesting way with operatic vocal of singing and clear rhythmic section. Amazing mix of Dark Metal with Black Metal (DIMMU BORGIR influences) with Symphonic elements, stronger guitars and Opera vocal. Oriental sounds are noticeable in “Invocation” where are also Dark sounds, Opera singing and heavier guitars.

My favourite track is the longest track on EP “The Beast Will Come” which lasts over 12 minutes.In this song is perfectly mix of Doom slower rate with  high Opera singing. Faster rate is change into slower one with wonderful climate of singing, dark sounds, keys and choir in the background has THERION influences. This track is just hypnotizing and could go listener into a trans.

Summing up, album of MOREOR is greatly done. Musicians connecting Dark, Doom, Gothic, Electro, Lyrical, Opera vocal and Symphonic Metal. I like their music and can't wait to listen new songs of them. I wish them good luck on their music way.  Every song has other scheme, other idea.  Generally their music would be love by listeners of THERION, DIMMU BORGIR or SATYRICON and for every lover who want to explore depth in music.
