Neon Light District

If you are looking for something to take you back to a simpler time, then this album is for you! Within the first ten seconds of the first track, “Another Kind Of Love”, the feel of 80s Hard Rock is very apparent, almost as if you had stepped into a time machine. NEON ANGEL will surely take you on a journey, maybe not quite as cool as the time travel just mentioned, but a journey that is definitely worth traveling. This album is full of ballads of love and a little rebellion, which isn’t that surprising for this style of rock. Love is always a great topic, especially when it’s the inspiration of the music you’re listening to.

Love Addiction”, the third track on this album, has a very up tempo beat behind it. The keyboard and the guitars are ever so eloquently thought out, allowing the female vocalist to wholeheartedly declare her addiction. It’s almost as if love is a sort of drug, which in a way it is. If you have ever been in love, you would have a hard time arguing that love isn’t one of the most powerful things to ever happen to you. Personally, I have had some powerful addictions in my life, but none of them have impacted me as deeply as my everlasting addiction for love. Chase this addiction, start with this song, just remember to distinguish what’s right from what’s wrong.

World On Fire” is a great portrayal of rebellion. The emotion behind the words can easily be felt. Together with the guitar riffs and well-rounded sounds from the accompanying instruments, you have yourself a song that is worth listening to. It’s something that is great to the ears, but also has a deep message behind it. It is peaceful but still has a sense of disorder that you just want to keep coming back for. Getting lost in this song will definitely help with any tendency you have to go against the grain of society, which I feel isn’t a bad thing at all.

With “Neon Light District” being their debut album, I hope to see more from them. Their sounds were peaceful to the ears and easy to listen to. Now go listen to the album and find out for yourself just how awesome it is!
