Nerodia - Prelude To Misery

Nerodia
Prelude To Misery
by Eldad "Blacknasa" Stainbook at 22 January 2014, 2:37 PM

NERODIA are hailing from Rome, Italy. Their name originated from a species of a snake, relatively big snake. The band plays old school Thrash with blackened Death Metal persuasion, what I like to call a fucking brutal Metal with some melodic touches (only some). For NERODIA this is their first EP after their debut full length in 2010.

So again it’s an EP with four original songs and a MERCYFUL FATE cover, will have guessing that NERODIA are true to their Metal style with their mixture of Thrash and Death. I found the band's partial melodic pursuit as quite refreshing, checking it on songs like "Dead End Procession", breaching with brutish classic end riffery, summing it as the EP's best. I can also recommend "Under My Black Wings" that shows an amazing fusion of iron fist brutality and older signatures.

Not bad or very good that my issue, I think that it is a not bad end result, nonetheless. These guys have a bright future ahead of them, call it a black future.
