Neron Kaisar - Madness Of The Tyrant

Neron Kaisar
Madness Of The Tyrant
by Daniel Silva at 26 August 2013, 5:45 PM

Taking its name from the Roman emperor, NERON KAISAR was formed in 2008 in Russia. They released their debut album, “Magnum Incendium”, in 2010, a single containing a great cover of “Symptom Of The Universe” in 2012 and now in 2013 they release their sophomore album titled “Madness of the Tyrant”.

What is great about this band is their lyrics and imagery that deal with history especially that of the Roman Empire in special the emperor from where they take their name from, which I thought was pretty original and refreshing, but unfortunately when I listened to their music I was pretty disappointed. The reason for my disappointment lay on the absence of a melody and not to mention that all songs sounded exactly the same, having no variations in them maintaining the same aggressive tone throughout the whole album from beginning to end.

It is a pity that this album deserves such a poor rating as I had expected more from NERON KAISAR when I listened to their cover of the classic BLACK SABBATH tune, but I guess the potential that I heard was more because of the material being covered.
