Nuclear Omnicide - Bringers Of Disease Award winner

Nuclear Omnicide
ringers Of Disease
by Iron Mathew at 20 December 2013, 10:49 PM

NUCLEAR OMNICIDE are a death/thrash metal band from Finland formed in 2010. After releasing their debut album early in 2013, they are now set to release an E.P. of six songs.

First song on the E.P. is the furiously frenetic “We Came To Thrash!”, sounding like a cross between EXODUS and NUCLEAR ASSAULT. It is a hard hitting, brutal, in your face, very aggressive opening. “Curse Of The Undead” offers no respite as it rampages off in a flourish of brutal guitars and growled vocals.

“Ruler With The Iron Fist” draws comparisons with MUNICIPAL WASTE as it races by with screaming guitars, brutal drumming and aggressive Death growl style vocals. This is Death / Thrash Metal at its most furious. “Institution (Execution)” has a short doom metal style intro before the guitars kick in and it races off and chugs relentlessly to a furiously aggressive finish.

“Merciless Butcher” is a foot stomping rage of aggression, brutal chugging guitars, a vocal performance that hints at Tom Araya (SLAYER) and a blistering screaming guitar solo. “Bringer Of Disease” closes the E.P. in aggressively brutal style. It's fast, it's furious and it races relentlessly to an end.

Overall, a storming E.P. of fast, furious, aggressive and brutal Death and Thrash Metal that will bang the head violently from start to finish.
