Pussies On The Dancefloor - Rumours album cover

PUSSIES ON THE DANCEFLOOR are a 5-man Glam Metal band from Munich, Germany who have so far released an EP "First Touch" and a self-titled debut album "Pussies on The Dancefloor." On December 10th 2021, the band are due to release their 2nd album "Rumours." The new album contains 12 all new songs with a fresh bite & a not so clean but very crips set of lyrics for each song. The sexy, fun, and often humour filled album was written and recorded over 2021 during the pandemic while live shows were put on hold due to Covid-19. The album lyrics were written by singer Leo Goldenvoice Lightning, Ray The Brain Dancefloor & Taylor Riff with the exception of song number 8 "Blow It Away" which was written by Leo Goldenvoice Lightning & Phil Fastfinger Fyre. The new album was produced by PUSSIES ON THE DANCEFLOOR & Johnny O'Hara & recorded at Pussies On The Dancefloor Studios in Munich. The album cover was designed by Phil Fastfinger Fyre.

The album opens with the title track "Rumours" which is started with a flurry of drumbeats by Tom. The song is upbeat with a great rhythm & the tempo is rather fast, you feel like have to keep up. The rumour mills spinning widely with this one! The question is what's rumour and what's truth. There's a lot of rumours going around about the band in this song, like how Taylor has an eye for the ladies and how Leo is wanking full power in the studio, not to mention Ray using Leo's camera for suspicious reasons lol. Straight away you can tell this is a PUSSIES ON THE DANCEFLOOR album. Its funny & sexy at the same time.

"Abbie" is song number 3 and it's all about that girl everyone loves to hate. The smarty pants in class who's also the teacher's pet. She's the know it all who will crawl under your skin & piss you off just by breathing! "Abbie" is not the kinda girl you want to be friends with. The kinda girl everyone gets together to hate with a passion. She will make you feel offended by her very presence. The music is played sweetly, and the vocals are smooth & well sung.

Song number 5 is definitely one to look out for and is my personal favourite from the new hard worked on album. It's a follow on from song number 5 on the self-titled debut album "For The Rest Of My Life." We have "For The Rest Of My Life (Part 2)." "For The Rest Of My Life" is the most romantic wedding proposal ever written into a song. "For The Rest Of My Life (Part 2)" is the 2nd instalment of this beauty. The song takes place 6 months 8 days 10 hours after the wedding. He's madly & deeply in love with his wife & his request is simple, he wants to fuck his beautiful wife for the rest of his life - nothing wrong with that even if she puts on weight & looks like a fat egg with make up on, he still wants to eat her ass every day. Good man I say!

Song number 8 is called "Blow It Away." This one tells us that when life is going shit, and things are not going your way there's an easy solution at hand. Simply "Blow It Away" Do you need to get laid? Hire a hooker for 30 bucks & blow it away! No matter if the problem is that your x-box has broken and your board or anxiety & nerves are getting to you, just "Blow It Away." If your life sucks blow it away & life will be ok is the message here.

The 10th song on the new album is "Love = War," it's a song with banging drums & deep bass ripping through with the guitars while Leo sings like a God! "Love = War" is a song that tells the true-life story of any relationship. That there will be battles in harmony and that sometimes love equals war. The thing is if you love each other, you will maybe loose the odd battle but survive the war and stay together through working things out.

Closing the album, we have a great song with a hilarious title, "4 Gay Dogs, A flamingo And A Rubber Duck." It's a funny song about an acid trip. A local offers some kind of herbal drink made with pineapples and shrooms. Then reality goes away to be replaced by intense colours, flashing lights and.... "4 Gay Dogs, A Flamingo And A Rubber Duck." The dogs speak in a French accent & doesn't have too much of a liking for Leo's leggings and the flamingo wants to start a fight while the rubber duck just laughs at everything.

Overall, this is a fantastic new album by PUSSIES ON THE DANCEFLOOR. a great 2nd album to add to the collection of Glam fans new and old. The guys have certainly laid out the start of a legacy of sexy songs with fun lyrics and a Glam styled wardrobe with the first 2 albums and EP and sure to follow this up with the next album. Not one song on this new instalment disappoints! It's a banging album and its out on December 10th 2021. The band have plenty of live shows to catch up on & lucky fans will have the chance to hear songs from both albums played live very soon!
