Metal maniacs, rejoice! I’m proud to present to you:
PERPETRATÖR; signed via
Caverna Abismal Records, hailing from French grounds - performing Thrash Metal, on their 2nd album entitled: “
Altered Beast” (
released January 31st, 2018).
Since formation in 2008; the quintet in question have one full-length album entitled: “
Thermonuclear Epiphany” (
released January 29th, 2014), a Split entitled: “
Hellbastard” (
released December 22nd, 2014) and this here record: “
Altered Beast”. 11 thrashing tracks; ranging at around 38:21, the quartet incorporate hard-hitting Thrash Metal arrangements,
PERPETRATÖR develop an intricately designed formula of distinctively progressive technicalities as with the first track “
Alter Of The Skull”; I’m introduced to a concrete slab of solid orchestrations that just keeps me captivated, as well as motivated with relentlessly stimulating velocity, which gallops with thumping adroitness and catchy excellence - great stuff so far.
Consisting of
Rick on vocals/bass guitar, the frontman delivers a consistently complex adaptation of razor-sharp vocalization and pulverizing bass attributions. “
Extreme Barbarity” is a 2:39 crushing groover; showcasing deadly hostility from dexterous duo
Paulão &
Marouco on guitars, efficiently demonstrating savagely sinister riffs and solos that are energetically enlightening. “
The Doors Of Perception” distributes blisteringly thunderous executions that balances with a barrage of frenzied assaults of rampaging melodies and rapidly swift nimbleness. “
Fires Of Sacrifice” establishes more battering salubriousness, as drummer
Ângelo Sexo pummels his set with a powerful punchline of bouncy yet crunchy foundations.
“
Lethal Manhunt” contrasts with a grandiose manifestation of furious speed and hammering power, dynamically upscaling the sound production with excelling malevolent malignance. “
A Fleeting Passage Through Hell” has distinguished songwriting stability, balanced with profusely robust vehemence. “
Terminal Possession” has hasty creativity; which fabricates constructive attention to detail that has maddening, chaotic mayhem of energetic craftsmanship. “
Jungle War” primitively showcased more intense brutality, immensely blasting with sheer aggression and battering ramifications. “
Hellthrasher” is perhaps my favourite, just think of
MEGADETH’s “
Headcrusher”.
Overall concluding with “
Black Sacristy”; this was certainly a record worthy of my time, if you need a new discovery of proficient Thrash Metal done right - look no further.
