Phobiatic - Fragments Of Flagrancy Award winner

Phobiatic
Fragments Of Flagrancy
by Paulomaniaco at 20 September 2014, 1:12 AM

Technical Death Metallers PHOBIATIC have released their second album called "Fragments Of Flagrancy" and it's heavy as fuck. Formed in 2008 in Essen, Germany and have previously unleashed another album "An Act Of Atrocity" they now plan to spread their hate across the old continent and worldwide.

"Fragments Of Flagrancy" is an album for the extreme diehard maniacs, the production is excellent clear as water and the art cover very appealing as well. The CD opens with "Bugging Operation" fast song with double kicking and fucking heavy, very complex guitar work with great riffs, "Downward Spiral" aggressive with lots of variations fans of DYING FETUS, ORIGIN, and CANNIBAL CORPSE will definitely dig deep into this album and feel "Ripped To Shreds" in your face, brutality all the way. New vocalist Sebastian Meisen does a great job of replacing former singer Chris, deep guttural and brutal, I like that a lot.

PHOBIATIC as I said before have managed to mix some old Death Metal with their own style and the result is a high tech bulldozer on the loose destroying everything in its path, sounding very modern with some complex riffs and played in such perfection, amazing stuff really. "A Genius Of Manipulation" is a very catching song, actually the longest gong on the CD at 5 minutes; it has lots of tempo changes, heavy with that slow and dirty pace, very good atmosphere; killer!!!

Nowadays, there are tones of Death Metal bands out there, although not all come up with innovation and most of them sound the same, PHOBIATIC have managed to stand out from them and "Fragments Of Flagrancy" have set the standards very high, I would love to see them live and crush some bones and feel "Like Pigs In The Dirty".
