PSY:CODE in a Danish Hardcore / Metal band who debuted three years ago with their first album, Delusion. Even before then, they supported on stage SLAYER and MASTODON. This seems to be quite an impressive beginning for a Metal band. Now, three years in the making, they have released their second album.
Cause and Neglect, the new album by PSY:CODE, though not something I would generally listen to, is honestly an okay album. Though I am personally more of a melodic person, I found that Schou’s vocals were quite impressive. And no one lacked in skill when it came to their particular instruments. After listening to this album several times, I began to think, PSY:CODE is probably one of those bands that I would like to see live. Something in me says seeing them live would be quite rewarding. Maybe they could open the door for me to listen to more Hardcore / Metal.
All in all, I would call this album is a pretty good album structure and passion taken into consideration. And I think PSY:CODE definitely has something they can be proud of on their hands. I am curious to see where they go from here.
