Purulent inflammation of the gums and tooth sockets, often leading to loosening of the teeth. That is what I found while browsing the net for the definition of pyorrhoea. Hmmm, a band that has taken its name from a disease. How hard is it for me to guess that this is a Death Metal or Grind band?
Oh, and the Metal Mind Productions logo on the album! Don't tell me! This is a re-release of this album! And let me guess again! This album was originally released as part of a Polish magazine and this is its first official release! Bingo! I think I will play at the lottery today since I am so good at guessing.
PYORRHOEA is a Polish band that plays brutal Death/Grind and you will probably have already read the review on the band's previous re-release by Yiannis Dk. So what's different between these two albums? First of all if you take a look at the song titles you can easily understand that the band has left its 'classic' Grind themes behind and has started using more political aware subjects. The music and the influences though remain the same. Take some NAPALM DEATH, throw it into a CANNIBAL CORPSE sauce and mix it with some VOMITORY. And here you are! You have an average Death Metal band!
Ok, they're nice, but nothing more. You know that there are tons of brutal Death Metal bands out there and every single one of them is trying hard to achieve something. You know what? I don't think that PYORRHOEA are the ones who will do it.
