QUAYDE LAHUE are a band who have been around since 2016 having released two previous EPs, they bring us the full length album “Love Out Of Darkness”.  The new album is 9 tracks long and comes on 8th November 2019. The female fronted band who have been banging out the tunes bring us a mellow/heavy mix of music in the new album. This is the bands second full length album to date. The band from Washington are front runners in the female fronted band scene. Together they have a well written, composed and produced album in the new piece of work which was recorded at Chez Salandre Labs with additional recording being done at Gemini Unity. The new album was mixed and mastered at Louder by Tim Green. The album “Love Out Of The Darkness” is available on CD and vinyl.

There are a few songs to listen out for on the new album “Love Out Of The Darkness”. “The Man In The Purple Robe” is a nice number from the album and comes in at 4 minutes 59 seconds. Its a song that brings the haunting vocals to the front of the guitar riffs and drums riding sweetly in the background. Another track which leaps out is “Warrior” A song which gives the listener the female power vocals along with the powerful lyrics. “Because I am a warrior”. A song with statement. “Before The Storm” is a softer song with a slower melodic pace. Its a song that opens smoothly and remains of a slower pace throughout. A track that is easy to listen to. “Fallout” is another slower paced song. It opens with some gentle instrumentals on guitar, bass and drums without any lyrics, it is a short track but worth mentioning due to its instrumental nature. Track number eight “It Still Burns” is a heavier song to sink your teeth into. Its full of fire and venom. A strong sounding song that fires the heart and has an awesome guitar solo.

QUAYDE LAHUE are a band who may not yet have reached their full potential but who are well on their way to doing so. This new album shows the bands style and gives us a taste of what we can expect from future albums. The 6 piece band from Washington have shown once again that they have no qualms in showing their teeth when they perform. A band who have a big future in front of them. Fans of the band will enjoy this latest installment of their music in this well performed and well produced piece of work by the USA rockers. A band who would be suited to fans of female fronted bands such as HALESTORM, BLAME ZEUS and KOBRA AND THE LOTUS.
