Hailing from Liverpool, RAIN MAY FALL will definitely catch your ear. Their lead vocalist has a melodic voice that can transcend into an edgy, gritty sound that compliments the rest of the band. Their song, "Torn Apart" is bound to be a crowd pleaser. It invokes crowd participation and could be a kind of "anthem" for fans. The opening guitar riffs in this song will definitely get a crowd out of their seats.
Rain May Fall's lyrics are well-versed and easily portrayed to the listener. The vocalist is easy to understand, which will help listeners relate to their tunes. Another song, "No Second Chances" seemed to have some motivation behind its lyrics. When I heard this song, one thing stuck out… "You only live once, do it while you can."
If RAIN MAY FALL wanted to get people out of their seats, "I Won't Be Told" is definitely the way to do it. It has a raw, edgy sound that I envision to be the background music to a circle pit filled with moshers.
RAIN MAY FALL has a little something for all metal fans. A little melodic… a little edgy… but every song is a crowd pleaser. Upon listening to their music I have come to the conclusion that sitting down will not be an option at their live shows.
