RED BERTOLDINI is well known as the drummer of legendary true metallers, DARK LORD and later became vocalist for bands such as MARY ROSE (cult Slovenian Rock band), FOXY LADY and REBEL TOYS. The debut album of RED BERTOLDINI was recorded in 1992 and never been published by any Record label. The musical style of this album is melodic Hard Rock with an intense blues soul. The Venetian artist (born in Venice/Italy) spreads a visceral performance with melody. The digital release will be available May 30th 2014.

My favourite track on this album is titled “Lay down”, which is a melodic track with AOR bass lines and ZAKK WYLDE riffs. Very catchy sounds make it so memorable. Other catchy sounds can be found in energetic “Red Car” which is an amazing Hard Rock track, and “Make it sure” which has rocking rhythm with bluesy echoes in a LED ZEPPELIN and even VAN HALEN climate. Harmony is hear able in “Back In Town”, which is full of Blues / Country influences, and ballad “Restless Soul” which has singing via strong voice and creates a fabulous old Hard Rock climate of the 80’s.

Worth to mention is that the guys almost perfectly cover 2 tracks of stars like WHITESNAKE and LED ZEPPELIN. First of it called “Fool for Your Loving” which is played with passion and nice sounding instruments, and second “Rock'n'Roll” with a great mix of Rock & Blues.
“Strong emotion” is calmer track with a bluesy sound and voice similar to Robert Plant.  Also remind me vocalist Bjorn Lodin (BALTIMOORE, HARD). Melody and nice bluesy sounds.  Here is an amazingly cooperated rhythmic section and beautiful riffs like in WHITESNAKE & other classic rock bands. It makes me get goose–flesh!

I'm sure every rock lover will like this album of RED BERTOLDINI, because there are so many excellent sounds of hard rock from 80’s, and Blues Rock with modern elements.
