Richie Sambora - Aftermath Of The Lowdown

Richie Sambora
Aftermath Of The Lowdown
by "Tilted" Thom James at 24 September 2012, 10:56 PM

From the depths of dirty Jersey comes a clean cut, new CD from BON JOVI’s axe man, Richie Sambora. Shrugging off his own personal demons, and getting down to writing music from the heart, which is sure to please even the most diehard of BON JOVI fans. “Aftermath Of The Lowdown” is Sambora’s third release, and the first release that is not under a major label release.

The CD starts out with a fun, jamming tune, and you can hear or maybe even feel the fun Sambora is having with “Burn the Candle Down”. The new single, “Every Road Leads Home to You” brings about a feel that is reminiscent of THE KILLERS, “Somebody Told Me”, and with out the reference the song still stands on it own. We finally get near the end of the CD and “You Can Only Get So High” brings up images of Paul McCartney complete with keyboards.

I’m sure the diehard BON JOVI fans have already headed over to Dangerbird’s website and pre-purchased their copies. How many new fans will this album will bring to Sambora and the BON JOVI machine? Only time will tell.
