Terror 2000 - Terror For Sale (CD)

Terror 2000
Terror For Sale

Terror 2000 continue their Thrash Metal party with their newest, third release, Terror For Sale, out through the Italian label Scarlet Records and those Swedish guys show us that they sure know how to party!
It all started back in 1999, when the well known Swedish metallers Nick Sword of El Mago, Klas Ideberg of Darkane, Bjorn Speed Strid of Soilwork and Henry Ranta (ex-Soilwork) decided to make a project band. After that their highly acclaimed debut album recorded at Underground Studios in Sweden (Carnal Forge, Necrodeath, Ebony Tears, Lost Soul) received excellent reviews among both media and fans. Furious and extreme, their debut was followed by Faster Disaster in 2002 and the  Slaughter In Japan  live album in 2003. Erik Thyselius of Construcdead replaced Henry Ranta behind the drum set and these thrashers came to blow our brains out with their latest release, Terror For Sale.
Right from the first track, Terror 2000 reveal their intention and that is without any doubt to lead us to a Thrash Metal party. This is great stuff, aggressive, fast and solid, excellent guitar riffing and light-speed drum pounding by Erik Thyselius. As far as vocals are concerned, Bjorn Strid defends his nickname  Speed in the best way he could with probably the most aggressive singing ever. You can hear growls, guttural vocals as well as some clear vocals and a chorus. The whole album is definitely pure Thrash massacre and as serious as the music those great musicians wrote, they added a spicy flavor to their lyrics and you can tell that just by looking at the title tracks. Song names like King Kong Song, Liquor Saved Me From Sports and Mummy Metal For The Masses are not the most sophisticated ones and through this irony I found the whole album goddamn enjoyable and kick-ass.
This release has just made my day and I am absolutely sure it will make yours too. Quoting the info sheet I must agree…Prepare yourself for the Ultimate Metal Massacre.
