80s Hard Rock band TESLA are back with a vengeance, simply because the world is too much for them to handle with all their digital downloads and online stuff. "Simplicity" is their follow up to their 2011 acoustic album, and some of it sounds like they haven't quite let go of the fact that they're not playing acoustic and they're not in the 80s anymore.
The album itself is an hour long and whether or not you can sit through the hour is based on what you like. The opening track "M P 3" is a good old Rock and Roll song, but the lyrics are solely about how everything is too complicated being digital and online. "So Divine…" being the breakout single from this album is not so special of a song, it's just one of those want to be 80s songs that don't make it in the 80s.
TELSA have released "Simplicity" through Frontier Records. If you're looking for an old school 80s album that you haven't heard, this is the one. If you're not looking for an 80s album maybe you should think about skipping over it and acting like it never happened.
