The Dead Nobodies - Return Of The Tide

The Dead Nobodies
Return Of The Tide

As part of METAL TEMPLE magazine’s campaign devoted for aiding the promotion of newcomer / unsigned bands, we bring you THE DEAD NOBODIES.

You know how sometimes you got an album to listen to and you then you shake your head cause you don't know if it's the worse album you listened to our it's pure brilliance. That's the question I have just now with THE DEAD NOBODIES new album. I should say first album "Return of the Tide", THE DEAD NOBODIES are hailing from Wareham, Massachusetts. According to their Facebook page they do rock, but come on rock is kind of generic to a band that from the first listen seems to mix up some Stoner with Grange with Punk metal, all in one shoot, some songs even got it all.

Twelve tracks are in the album from THE DEAD NOBODIES¸ even though the last track "Sex Eat Meat (Alternate Mix)" sounds the very similar, even identical to the number two track "Sex Eat Meat" so I didn't get the alternate mix thingy.

Overall, grunge meets stoner and it seems that I didn't get any answer to my question. It's not a brilliant nor bad album, it's ok. However I will guess that many metal fans will not understand the album. It's more for the light headed metal fans with lots of beer.
