Unscarred - Fake Democracy

Fake Democracy
by Marcos "The Jungle Guy" Garcia at 05 January 2014, 1:24 PM

What brutal strength these guys have!

The French quintet UNSCARRED is up to deaf your ears all with “Fake Democracy”, a brutal five piece of Thrash Metal, as brutal and heavy as Hell.

As said above, they play a brutal way of Thrash Metal, remembering the German school of the style, with very aggressive vocals, great guitars (both in riffs and solos), bass and drums with good technique, but making a heavy rhythmic basis. And it is good for you to have strong ears and live far from your next neighbor.

The sound is fine, showing that the production was done in a good form, shaping the band’s music in an aggressive and clean form, so it’s brutal to the point of breaking all the teeth, but you’ll hear all instruments separately.

All the five tracks are fine and very good, but the better moments are seen in the fast and oppressive “100 Lashes” (the bass and the drums are excellent here), the brutal “Puppets Territory” (hear the guitars roaring against your ears and making the walls tremble), and “Meet Your Fate” (this vocalist is totally insane!).

Very good, and deserves an album.
