Mascot/Provogue Records issues the seventh part of their blues rock compilation albums - the so much anticipated album Various Artists - Where Blues Meets Rock VII. What you are about to listen here is a fine blend of guitar heroes - contemporary, future promises or new ones or just old flames still burning - giving their hearts and testifying their souls.
This is indeed a pretty cool collection for starters or more trained ears about the guitar blues/rock sound. Many of this compilation's songs have previously appeared in various other personal or compilation albums, but this is not really a problem since you get a chance to have all of your favorite tunes compiles into one compact collection here.
The style, which dominates the whole album, is obvious a mixture of blues based or blues influenced rock music so you have been already noticed. This means that if you do not really care for straightforward direct emotional blues rock stuff just go on read the next review and you will fell just fine. There are many heavy rock songs such as ERIC GALES or MICHAEL KATON proposition or more cool and relaxed ones - in the likes of LESLIE WEST or STONEY CURTIS BAND for example.
You can really see that this compilation is kind of self -explanatory if you like - the whole atmosphere here is obvious rock blues oriented and it will definitively give you blue fun and a chance to get acquainted with several guitar titans and passionate expressionists. Just pure relaxing or full flavoured taste of heavy blues -rock heart filling honest music.
