VEONITY is a Power Metal band from Vänersborg in Sweden. The band was formed in 2013 and in 2013 they released an EP ”Live Forever” and on 25^th January 2015 debut album ”Gladiator's Tale” which was mixed by Ronny Milianowicz and mastered by Jens Bogren.

The whole album is killer. I love “Chains Of Blood” with melodic and strong riffs & great bass & drums! Mega melodic chorus with great choir of band echoes pure majesty. This track is catchy as hell! Lower guitars are similarity to JUDAS PRIEST and BLACK SABBATH and guitars has IRON MAIDEN, HAMMERFALL and MANOWAR vibes. Memorable refrain with fine guitars are in “Let Me Die” with nice vocals and really great work, here also are noticeable node towards EDGUY! Great atmosphere with energetic sounds is in “For The Glory” and “Farewell” is technical and powerful riffs and melody inside. In “King Of The Sky” is sugar for our ears with fantastic guitars! Very powerful song!

“Warrior Of Steel” has beautiful magic inside… This is a ballad where Anders Sköld is singing in an amazing way with accompaniment of piano and then an impressive choir, fabulous guitar solo and this ballad reaches an epic atmosphere with stronger guitars! Powerful rhythm in “Unity” with beautiful guitar solo and brilliant choir give perfect sounds! Heavier riffs with faster drums in “Slaves In A Holy War” has similarity to HAMMERFALL. Fine chorus with choir in glory spirit, amazing track! Burning, rocking atmosphere with gorgeous riffs we have in “Born Out Of Despair” and also wonderful refrain with band choir in JUDAS PRIEST and SABATON style of playing! Titled track “Gladiator's Tale” is a nice anthem with memorable choir inside.

Powerful and galloping guitars riffs and fast drums, which I love, you could easily dig in “Phoenix Arise”. Clear rhythmic section, fabulous guitar solo and deep, strong vocals and choirs in memorable refrain raise the bar. This is a really nice and powerful track! Opener “Into Eternity” has powerful drums & guitars similar STRATOVARIUS and HELLOWEEN! Choir in the background in chorus gives amazing atmosphere to this song.

“Gladiator's Tale” is a totally amazing album! Energy & unbelievable power beats from every piece of sound. You have here heavy, bloody guitar riffs, huge rhythmic section, Power and Heavy Metal elements, much melody and perfection singing. This is one of these albums which you want to still listen to and come back to it again and again. Surely every Power Metal lover will be a fan of their sounds. Melodies and heavy sound makes this CD fantastic! Sincerely recommend the work of these Swedish Metallers!
